Is Koala Eco Cruelty Free?

Yes, Koala Eco is cruelty free.

Koala Eco’s mission is to “use the power of nature to inspire a safe, caring, and beautiful world.” They do this by developing home, cleaning, hand, and body products from plant-based sources. High-quality aromatherapy grade Australian essential oils are used for their formulations.

On their ingredients page, Koala Eco states that they only use “safe, biodegradable, natural, non-toxic, plant-based, hypoallergenic, child- and pet-safe ingredients.” They do not use the following: sulphates (SLS, SLES, SCS), triclosan, sodium coco sulphate, coco betaine, parabens, phosphates, formaldehyde, MEA, DEA, TEA, synthetic fragrance, chlorine, bleach, petrochemicals, animal by-products, allergens, perfumes, dyes, caustics or any nasties.

Koala Eco has been certified as cruelty free by Choose Cruelty Free, and certified vegan friendly by Vegan Australia. They present these associated logos at the bottom of their website. Their ingredients, formulations, and products are not tested on animals, nor do they use animal-derived ingredients or by-products.
