Is Aunt Fannie’s Cruelty Free?

Yes, Aunt Fannie’s is cruelty free.

Established by Mat Franken, Aunt Fannie’s is a people-friendly and pet-safe brand that manufactures cleaning products for the home. From probiotic cleaners and hand soaps to pest solutions and cleaning wipes, their products are effective even if they do not contain harsh chemicals. On their blog, they state that their formulations do not contain dyes, petroleum, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, and artificial fragrances.

On their blog post entitled “How Natural Are Your Natural Products?,” Aunt Fannie’s shares, “We are cruelty-free and do not use animal ingredients. Granted, ants and roaches may take issue with this.” To verify their animal-friendly stance, the company has been certified by two international programs: Beauty Without Bunnies and Leaping Bunny. This means that the two organisations have proven that their ingredients, formulations, and products are not tested on animals at any stage. Additionally, PETA states that their products are safe for vegans to use, which means these products do not contain animal-derived ingredients or byproducts.
