Is Coconut Tree Cruelty Free?

Yes, Coconut Tree is cruelty free.

Coconut Tree harnesses the power of premium coconut oil to feed and restore the body from the outside. It was created by Catherin Reddaway and her father, who teamed up with a cosmetic chemist to formulate body and hair care essentials that would nourish, hydrate, and protect the body.

On their About page, the brand shares:

“Our products are free from: synthetic colour and fragrance; silicons, sulphates, parabens, phthalates, PEGs, petrochemicals, mineral oils, and other toxic ingredients.

Our range of products are all blended from a base of certified (NASAA) organic coconut oil and quality ingredients selected for their effectiveness, inherent benefits, and ability to delight the senses.

Our products and ingredients are not tested on animals and are accredited by Choose Cruelty Free.

Aside from not testing their ingredients and formulations on animals, most of their products are made from plant-based ingredients. These are suitable for vegans except for their Calm Balm, which contains beeswax and lanolin.
