It was founded in California, USA by a team of pet lovers passionate about leaving a positive mark in the world. On their FAQs page, they answer the question, “Are your products ever tested on animals?” Skout’s Honor says, “Never! We never test any of our products on animals and are proud to be a certified cruelty-free company!” The pet essentials brand is certified cruelty-free and vegan by the Beauty Without Bunnies’ global program. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has verified that the brand does not test on animals at any stage, nor do they use animal-derived ingredients. As such, they feature PETA’s “cruelty free and vegan” logo on all their product packaging.
