Is Vasse Virgin Cruelty Free?

Yes, Vasse Virgin is cruelty free.

Vasse Virgin was founded almost 20 years ago by Louis and Edwina Scherini. The Australian couple was looking for a safe, chemical free alternative for their children who were diagnosed with eczema. Through trial and error, they formulated a soap bar recipe using extra virgin olive oil, essential oils, plant extracts, and the traditional cold press method. Over the years, they have expanded their brand to sell skin care, body care, hair care, fragrances, and gourmet food products.

On their FAQs page, they reveal whether Vasse Virgin products are tested on animals. They state, “No absolutely not, we have always been very passionate about offering skin care products that have as minimal an impact on the environment as possible therefore we have always been against animal testing and do not use tallow either.” Vasse Virgin is certified animal friendly by Choose Cruelty Free.
