Canine Nation Podcast was created by professional dog trainer Eric Brad.

Canine Nation uses behavioural science to form satisfying relationships between dogs and their humans. The podcast delves into discovering the truth about dog training, and discarding old, traditional practices that do not benefit dogs.

Whose podcast is it?

Eric Brad, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) who has been living with and training dogs for over 25 years. As a writer, he promotes modern animal training methods rooted in behavioural science and reward-based training. Most of the episodes are based on the essays that Brad has written for Life As A Human, a human interest online magazine for evolving minds.

Who is the podcast’s intended audience?

Dog owners who are interested in using up-to-date scientific methods, reliable sources, and tried-and-tested data to train their canines. The episodes are 5 to 27 minutes long, with thought-provoking topics such as “Reliable Recall – The Holy Grail of Dog Training,” “Lessons from Our Dogs – Forgiveness,” and  “Is Kindness Enough for Effective Dog Training?”
